Thanksgiving week... what should I say about, we often over eat, enjoy the family and togetherness and celebrate a joyful eve.
All of that was true, but we moved up to Richmond, VA for the week.
Besides having the extended family around, from the training perspective it also forced me to change my regular training circuit. Including more hills and a little of cross country, which I definitively can say it helped!
Overall the changes didn't impact my pace, and I should say, changing the circuit felt a good challenge and great training experience.
On top of the family support, it is great to see people in my insta account following and cheering up. That is probably a great tool to keep motivated and running to the goal of the marathon, while the other tool I have been using is Strava. I love the challenges posted and friends checking your stats, but the free version offers some stats v/s the paid version. But, which a smart watch you can check your vitals and other data you gather from it.
Stay tuned!
